I was invited by The Recruitment Events Co to deliver my keynote at RecFest 2018 at Hawker House in July to an audience of over 300 recruitment focused professionals from all over the UK and Europe.

Asexual Identities

Many Asexuals (Ace) identify with two orientations: a romantic and a sexual one.  An Asexual's romantic orientation determines which gender(s), if any, they are inclined to form romantic relationships with.There are also individuals in the asexual community who identify in the gray area between asexuality and sexuality.  Although it should be note that not all individuals fall into these categories or identify with the terminology.

It's fair to say many people don't know how to speak to or about transgender people. So what do the terms involved mean and what's considered polite?

Transgender Names, Pronouns and Titles

When describing, referring to, or talking to transgender individuals, please use the correct term or terms to describe their gender identity.
